1. Summit Option

The Summit Option gives you the freedom to choose any hospital for hospitalisation and any provider for the treatment of day-to-day and chronic conditions. There are no Thresholds or Savings, since all benefits are paid for by the Scheme. However, certain sub-limits apply to Day-to-day Benefits.

2. Extender Option

The Extender Option gives you the freedom to choose your providers for hospitalisation and the treatment of chronic conditions according to your specific needs. In this way, you are empowered to control your healthcare expenses. This option is ideal for you if you need unlimited private hospitalisation, comprehensive chronic benefits and extensive day-to-day cover.

3. Incentive Option

The Incentive Option gives you the freedom to choose your providers for hospitalisation and the treatment of and chronic conditions according to your specific needs. In this way, you are empowered to control your healthcare expenses. This option is ideal for you if you need unlimited private hospitalisation and average day-to-day cover.

4. Custom Option

The Custom Option gives you the freedom to choose your providers for hospitalisation and the treatment of chronic conditions according to your specific needs. In this way, you are empowered to control your healthcare expenses. This option is ideal for you if you need unlimited private hospitalisation and average day-to-day cover. There is an R800 co-payment per authorisation on the Major Medical Benefit, except in the case of maternity confinements and motor vehicle accidents where treatment costs more than R5,000.

On the Access Option Momentum Health negotiates benefits at set rates with specific providers. This option is ideal for you if you require unlimited hospital cover and need access to entry-level benefits at Momentum Health’s preferred providers.
